Jaime Jones Kemper, Founder

My passion for design and architecture began at a young age, never swaying on my goal to enter into this industry. After graduating from Florida State University with a double major in Interior Design and Art History, I began my career working for a prominent Design firm in Florida. During my time there, I gained extensive knowledge working in luxury large scale model home merchandising with projects ranging across the state. I went on to spend another four years working in the model home design industry, further working on projects throughout the southeastern U.S. before transitioning into residential design.

I founded J Designs in 2003 with a primary goal to deliver polished, sophisticated, classic, and stylish interiors. Since its inception, I have accumulated extensive working knowledge and experience on a broad range of projects, from single room projects to 12,000+ square foot custom home design builds to remodels and everything in between. Additionally, I have gained experience in television home design, spending three seasons working alongside Vern Yip on HGTV's Deserving Design. My work has been published in Atlanta Magazine, Jezebel Magazine, Chicago Tribune, and various online outlets. 

My primary strength is a comprehensive understanding of the importance of collaboration between the architect, builder, and designer. My ability to understand the specific style of each client while integrating my touch on a home is what continues to grant me a repeat client base. To me, the most crucial aspect of the project is delivering a home that reflects one's personality but, more so, a place where my client is proud to call their house a home.
